The New Zealand Defence Force currently has 157 personnel deployed to Timor-Leste.
The final rotation of Royal New Zealand Air Force personnel from Number 3 Squadron serving in Timor Leste returned to New Zealand on 31 October, 2008 bringing to an end the last planned overseas deployment of RNZAF Iroquois helicopters.
RNZAF personnel continue to deploy to Timor-Leste as part of continued NZDF rotations.
